Parkhill
Textiles is a well established manufacturer of reinforcements for
the composites industry and was the first UK company to manufacture
zero crimp fabrics in the UK.
We have a long history of producing
technical fabrics for a number of end uses in composites, horticulture & agriculture
and a tufting division, which specialises in products for household
textiles.
Our sister company Carr Reinforcements was the first
worldwide weaver of carbon fibre and produces a range of woven,
unidirectional and zero crimp fabrics from carbon fibre, aramid
and other high modulus fibres.
We have many years experience of producing two
and three-dimensional fabrics and the positioning of fibre in fabrics
to give maximum performance in composite components.
Looking to the future, our established 3D weaving
facility, which produces TRUE-3D shape weaving and multi-layer
technical fabrics, puts Parkhill at the cutting edge of fabric
design and development going forward into the future of “weaving
of fabrics for composites”
